Coffee & Content: Visual Styles of Top Directors & 5 Must-Have Filmmaking Tools

Happy Sunday Creative Army!
First of all, congratulations to all of you who have already participated in our monthly Introduce Yourself Weekend! Thousands of connections have been made between entertainment creatives and professionals from every corner of the globe. Whether you are a long-time member, or brand new to Stage 32, take a moment to pop over to the Introduce Yourself Lounge and say hello before the end of the weekend. Now, grab some fresh coffee and let's dive in to this week's piping hot content.
First up, the folks over at Indy Mogul have a great video about how top directors find and curate their visual styles. In this video, Oscar-nominated production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas (Inception, Steve Jobs, Passengers, Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) breaks down the visual style of Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Spike Lee, and Ang Lee. Better yet, Guy gives advice on how filmmakers can curate their own, unique visual style.
Next up, our friends over at Film Riot put together a quick and easy video featuring 5 tools that make your life as a filmmaker easier. This video features items that are helpful to any and all filmmakers, cinematographers, sound folks, gaffers, or grips.
As always here at Stage 32, we love to share stories and knowledge with our fellow film fans. Know someone who would love this content? Share it with them! Tag them below!
