Happy Sunday Creative Army!

How has your week been? Here's hoping you have had some time to get creative this week. I've got a nice lineup of content today that will give you a creative jolt to complement your Sunday morning dark roast.

First up, Director David F. Sandberg (aka "ponysmasher" on YouTube) has compiled a couple of lessons he has learned from filmmaking over the years. David uses examples from his own filmography including Shazam!, Annabelle: Creation, and Lights Out. David talks about everything from how the more characters you have, the trickier your setups are to how to keep a sense of "urgency" on set so your takes don't fall flat in post.

Nex up, Sam Jones of The Off Camera Show sits down with Seth Rogan for a candid conversation about screenwriting. Seth talks about his experience running the show (Superbad) vs. carrying out someone else's vision when working as a staff writer. Additionally, Seth explains "how to write a movie" using bits of your own life and experiences tied together with the thousands of ideas writers may have over the course of their career.
