First up, our friends at StudioBinder recently released a video exploring how cinematographer Roger Deakins (1917, Skyfall, Blade Runner 2045, No Country for Old Men) uses practical lighting in his work. This video explains what practical lighting is, how you can achieve a "natural" look on camera, how blocking is essential to getting the lighting right, and more.

Next up, the folks over at Insider did a deep dive into the rhythmic writing style of Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network, Steve Jobs, Molly's Game). In this video, they primarily illustrate this with examples from The Social Network. This analysis illuminates how Aaron Sorkin uses rhythm and pace to uniquely define his characters through his projects.
