Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

First up, it may seem like common sense to some, but we're looking at film slates, or "clapperboards" in this video from StudioBinder. You'll dig into the history of their use, all the information they carry, and their importance. This simple little object carries a great deal of importance on a film set that you'll definitely need to know before getting to the set.

Next, this video from CinemaStix digs into the mise-en-scene in Steven Soderberg's OCEAN'S 11. This plot-driven film may look like a fun and easy romp but crafting the story on set was clearly not as easy-flowing. This video digs into the changes that were made throughout production to add more character details to the story, adding to the tone and character beats that make this film so memorable.
