Coffee & Content: The 4 L's of No Budget Filmmaking & Lawyer Breaks Down Courtroom Scenes from Movies & TV

Happy Sunday Creative Army!
Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee and let's dive in.
First up, the folks over at Film Riot recently sat down with indie filmmaker Zach Ramelan to talk about his recent short film The Statement starring Zachary Levi (Shazam, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Chuck). Zach shot this film during quarantine with a cast and crew of 3 people: one actor, a cinematographer, and himself directing. In this video, he talks about the 4 L's of no budget filmmaking - lighting, lenses, limits, and location.
Next up, Wired interviewed a real-life lawyer about 30 courtroom scenes from film and television. No matter what genre you write, produce, or perform in it seems at one point or another a courtroom scene will work its way into your career. In this video, they break down scenes from How to Get Away with Murder, Law & Order, Liar Liar, Legally Blonde, Suits, and more. They talk about everything from objections and leading the witness to the miranda rights and continuances.
