What Has Filmed in Dallas?
Dallas has hosted some of the most iconic films and television series in American entertainment. In film, titles like "RoboCop" (filmed throughout Dallas, using City Hall as the OCP headquarters), "JFK" (with many scenes shot on location around Dealey Plaza), "Logan's Run," “Born on the Fourth of July,” "True Stories," "Benji," "Bottle Rocket," "Talk Radio," and "Problem Child" are among the standouts that showcase Dallas’ unique cityscape and energy. Television has left an equally deep mark, with the legendary primetime drama "Dallas" firmly cementing the city’s place in TV history. Other series include “Wishbone,” “Barney & Friends,” "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Queen of the South," "GCB," "The Good Guys," "Carter High.” Reality shows such as "Big Rich Texas,” and “Cheaters,” have also filmed in Dallas, taking advantage of its vibrant urban settings and diverse locations. Together, these productions have made Dallas a star both on screen and throughout the film industry.
