Winners Announced: 2nd Annual TV Writing Contest

Wow...What a contest. And what a difference a year makes. Our 1st Annual TV Writing Contest saw some incredible scripts, but this year, the ante was raised. So many of our feature writers decided to try their hands at TV writing both with original scripts or specs based on existing material. The results were overwhelming and the competition was as fierce as we've seen it for any contest.

In the end, however, there can be only one Grand Prize Winner and this year the honor goes to Danny Baran for his script Alt Alex. As mentioned, Danny faced some serious competition, but managed to outlast them all. He will be meeting with Anonymous Content, Gersh and Management SGC, as well as get a 1 year mentorship with Mickey Fisher, writer/creator of Steven Spielberg executive produced TV show Extant. Huge congratulations to Danny!

Also big time congrats to our 2nd place winner, Maude Michaud (Whipped) and 3rd place finisher Bryan Roye (Wasted Space). Two excellent writers and two excellent scripts.

Please help us in congratulating Danny, Maud, and Bryan!

Remember, our Sci-Fi and Fantasy Screenwriting Contest is not only open for entries, but has a deadline approaching this coming Wednesday!
